Every disputed quote, forgotten detail, and “what did we agree on?” has the same fix: replay the call. Recording gives every call a playback bar and a transcript, so the conversation itself becomes something you can search, review, and share with your team.

What you get

  • A Recordings tab — the same two-pane view as Calls, filtered to calls that have audio. Pick a call on the left, play it on the right.
  • Transcripts — every recorded call is transcribed, so you can skim a conversation in seconds instead of scrubbing audio.
  • Coaching material — read how your best person handles a tough caller, or how your AI agent handled one at 2 AM.
AI-answered calls are transcribed as they happen; recording extends the same treatment to the calls your team takes directly.

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings → Recording.
  2. Choose what gets recorded — team calls, AI calls, or both.
  3. New calls start recording from that moment. Find them under Calls → Recordings.
Call-recording consent laws vary by state and country — some require one party’s consent (yours counts), others require everyone’s. The common fix is a short disclosure at the start of the call (“this call may be recorded…”), which you can add to your agent’s greeting or your call flow. When in doubt, check the rules where your callers are.

Availability

Call recording is included on the Growth plan and above — see Plans & billing. Recording starts from the moment it’s enabled; calls made while it was off weren’t recorded and can’t be recovered.
